Wrote letters to Haar Hoolim and Jared Johnson, a quite
long one.

At French Book Store bought 18 JEUX DU TEMPS PASSE. $17.25
plus tax.
At Rizzoli ordered GIOCHI DI CARTE - VOLUME SECONDO. They
will also try to get me a catalog on other volumes
in the "Enciclopedia dei Giochi". Spoke to Mr. Columbo.
At Riis Brothers bought DECIMIX (Triang).Looked at MOON PROBE
(Triang) - a simple path game with spaces that send you
forward or back.
Saw POLYTAIRE (Parker). The board is as shown.

There are 18 black, 18 white, and 1 gold marble
in a grab bag. These are placed on
board at random. The gold marble is removed
to form the first blank space.
One player plays black and one white.
In turn players use one of their marbles
to jump over one or more marbles.
Their own mar The players own color marbles
that are jumped are removed, the opponent's are left in place.
A player must make at least one jump, if able, but doesn't have
to continue jumping. If a player can't move, the other player
continues until the first player can move again or the second player can
no longer move. Player with least of his color remaining is the winner.
As a puzzle it is played the same way, object to end up with
one black and one white marble remaining.
Bought the November TEEN Magazine. No articles on games.

The game ASSASSIN! arrived. They also do a game called
REVOLT! and one called DICTATOR, scheduled to come
out in October. No price given.
