TUESDAY 14 OCTOBER 1969
287th day - 78 days to come
Felicia called. Connor sent for the rules and some pictures of a new
strategy game, called ORBIT. At lunch brought back TIP-OFF to
Diversified Creations. Stopped at Crisloid to see if I could get samples
of their games. Fellow told me to call someone else who could
give them to me. Gave me his name and the number.
To Felicia's new office. Took ORBIT with me to study. Will get it
back to her next week and we'll discuss whether Connor should go to
the expense of sending the model.
Read it over. Looks like it might be interesting. The rotating discs
are reminiscent of THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS.
Called Diane Jaust with the information we discussed yesterday.
She heard from Jan Rotchstein. They will get together, including
Lee Horn, next week.
Told her about Dane taking the pictures. Would like them tomorrow.
If Dana can't print them it is O.K. to just give her the negatives.
Will send a messenger tomorrow to pick them up.
The Fall-Winter Random House Catalog Sally Kovalchick sent me
arrived. The entry on A GAMUT OF GAMES was similar to the
flap statement.
Rcd. word from Donald Greenwood of THE PANZERFAUST. 12 back
issues are available at 50 [cents] each.
Dale had 4 copies of the rules for PSYCHE-PATHS reproduced
on Jim's Xerox.
(cont. from 10/15) [10/15]
Sent a thank you letter to John Geiger. Said I'd try
to get a good word in for his games whenever I
could.
