FRIDAY 1 AUGUST 1969
213th day - 152 days to come
Felicia called : call from Bob Claude:
3M is taking IMAGE. They said that they were taking
only the basic idea and would completely rework it so they
offered a 3 1/2 % contract with a cutoff after sales of
$3,000,000. Will give a $200 (I think) advance, not out of royalties.
They are returning DIGIT even tho the test panel liked
it. They have 21 game card games that they are evaluating.
Bob Claude is moving to another division and is only
working half a day on games till a new man takes over.
Felicia said that Will Erickson is so busy on other
projects that he has very little time to devote to games.
I said I'd write to the accounting dept. rather than
Will again, about having the agent's fee sent to I-S.
I called Bill Cummings and spoke to Murray since Bill was away
from his desk. Murray said that all of the changes were
taken care of. I thanked him.
Phil Orbanes called. Gabriel Frank, the marketing manager of
Allstate would like to meet me. Made date for three of
us after work Thursday.
Spoke to Arthur. He called the editor of STROBE Magazine
to get more info on the POWER mentioned in their article.
He said that Debbie Smith, who wrote it, would be in town
next week and would get in touch with him.
