MONDAY 21 JULY
1969 202nd day - 163 days to come
From { SCRIPTA MATHEMATICA
YESHIVA UNIVERSITY
186th St. and Amsterdam Ave.
New York, New York 10033
ordered the following:-
27. Coxeter, H.S.M. - The Golden Section, Phyllotaxis and Wyoth's Game - - - $ .30
85. Richards, John F.C. - Boissiere's Pythagoren Game [2 copies] - - - - $1.00
88. Sawyer, W. W. - Analysis of an Indian Game - - - - - - - - - $ .20
____
$1.50
Wrote a postcard to Chris Wagner telling him I received HYPER-SPACE.
(cont. from 7/22) [7/22]
Bought the July 1969 "Scientific American" at the news-
stand. Had Martin's version of HIT AND RUN.
Had a new idea for SPECTRUM, eliminating the "color
match" and "intercept" move and substituting a
limitation that each color could be placed on two
colors but not the other two. Tried it by myself
and it seems to work well.
Called Audrey Pierce's office and spoke to Jan. Her idea
from Lee was that I wanted the games sent to Martin
as a present to him. I told her that he would definitely
mention the games in his column. She is low in games
now, just having sent some out to Playboy and Teen maga-
zines, but promised to send BAZAAR, ACQUIRE, MONAD, &
VENTURE to Martin by beginning of September.
