FRIDAY 18 JULY 1969
199th day - 166 days to come
Called Felicia to see what was doing with Hasbro. She hadn't heard from
the guy and said she'd call him and then call me. She did have
a letter from Arnold Shapiro at X. He is getting very frustrated at the
slow progress. But they do want to look at more games.
She called while I was out and left a message that Mr. Einhorn (of Hasbro)
will be on vacation next week.
Rcd. a package from 3M, sent bt Keith Tuggle, containing
FEUDAL, FOIL, and BLUE LINE HOCKEY.
Dale gave me an article from STROBE on games, written from the usual
Ed Parker point of view. A considerable number of game names
were mentioned, all of which I knew except POWER, unless the writer
who is the west coast editor of the magazine, heard about the
Amberstone's game from someone at PACE Magazine.
Phile Orbane's supposed to come but tied up in the Lexington Ave. subway
tie up and called after 10 from Grand Central on way home. Made
tentative appoinment for next Thursday.
Rcd. a letter from Professor Schaff. His "Bibliography" will be published
by the "National Council of Teachers of Mathematics" and should
be out sometime next spring.
