SUNDAY 6 JULY
Fifth Sunday after Trinity 1969 187th day - 178 days to come
Wrote letters to Bill Caruson, Mel Taft, Angelo Longo, &
John Denton (COURT TRIAL). Started a letter to
Lech Pijanowski.
(cont. from 7/7) [7/7]
[diagram drawn to left, four 2x2 squares across four rows. Each square in grid has empty circle.
Row 1: [2x2 grid], 10; [2x2 grid], 15; [2x2 grid], 20; [2x2 grid], 25;
Row 2: [2x2 grid], 15; [2x2 grid], 20; [2x2 grid], 25; [2x2 grid], 30;
Row 3: [2x2 grid], 20; [2x2 grid], 25; [2x2 grid], 30; [2x2 grid], 35;
Row 4: [2x2 grid], 25; [2x2 grid], 30; [2x2 grid], 35; [2x2 grid], 40]
Sid Blazer had another game called COMBO. There
are 4 different cards as shown. Each
square has the 4 spaces arranged
with different colors. There are 4
colors but each doesn't neccessarily
have to be in each square. There are
two types of markers, one with blue
on one side & yellow on the other side.
The other has red and green. There
is one die with "Put" sides & "Take" sides
and [crossed out] also a number die.
Players in turn throw the dice and
take (or give) markers. Try to
fill in squares. Start with a 10,
then can go to a 15, to a 20, etc. Play until one fills
his card or till a player thinks he has the most points
in which case he can "Knock." The cards are sheilded.
[Didn't get all the details, but it seems horribly dull.]
Saw the model of CUBITS (see 7/12). The dice
have the following faces "Cubit" is wild. When a die
jumps to a corner it is turned to "Cubit." In jumping
the position has to maintained (I guess).
[diagram of six squares in a line.
Labeled left to right: [horizontal line with arrows pointing left and right], [vertical line with arrows pointing up and down, perpendicular arrow pointing left], [horizontal line with arrows pointing left and right], "CUBIT," [vertical line with arrow pointing down, perpendicular line with arrow pointing right], [vertical line with arrow pointing down, perpendicular line with arrow pointing right] ]
(cont. from 7/8) [7/8]
get additional moves for specified ending conditions.
(To be worked out.)
