Reading S&T on Subway. Special issue on DIPLOMACY variations and also
some of the other issues mentioned variations that bear looking into.

Called Micky McKay. Thanked her for the games she got to me. Asked her
if I could get a copy of SWAHILI. This one, she said, was out of her
hands. [crossed out] Publicity for it is being handled by Chubby Checkers'
agent. She asked for my telephone numbers again.
I [crossed out] told her I'd contact her when I get ready to go on
the column. She said by all means.
Had [crossed out] a game GAME idea. When a piece jumps over a piece
or a line of pieces they are turned over. They are either 2 sided
or 6 sided. Some sort of pattern objective has to be worked out.

Bought AVALANCHE and TURNCOAT at Bloomingdale's.

Adult Leisure Products Corp:- Harold Samuels actually spoke to me
until a buyer showed up. HAAR HOOLIM PERCEPTION GAMES are doing
well. They have been listed in a number of catalogs, including
a well-known scientific equipment co.
He has bought out 2A22 and is making new rules and
will put it out with a new name. It will be ready about the
beginning of July.
Cardinal Industries Inc:- THE APOLLO SPACE ROCKET CHECKER GAME:
Played with a spinner on an elongated board. The end rows
has the planets shown with increasing point value based on
distance from the sun. Object is to move as many
checkers across to the planets on the other end. (Very
rough idea.)
AMERICANA GOLF GAME: Can't remember the details.
Research Games:- Gave me material on PRO BASKETBALL STRATEGY and
FRAN TARKENTON'S PRO FOOTBALL (Filed in 1969 Ad Clips).
A CENTURY OF GREAT FIGHTS: Got instructions. (Filed in Misc. Games.)
International Learning Corp.:- Met the same nice elderly gentlemen who
I spoke to at the Toy Fair. He gave me a copy of BASIS for
a review. (Vernon Johnson). (Circular in 1969 Ad clips)
Agon Corp. A series of "Collectors Games" in a bookshelf format
with a hinged top. (Info in 1969 Ad Clips)
NODDLE: A variation of JOTTO. Using number squares each
player places a 4 (or more) digit number where the other
player can't see it. They then [crossed out] shoot sets of digits
at each other. The opponent anounces "hits," which are
numbers that are the same but in a different position
