WEDNESDAY 23 APRIL 1969
113th day - 252 days to come
Bought some inexpensive plastic squares in some 7 different colors
in a store on Fifth Ave.
Had an idea for a GAME. There is a board with about
10 x 10 holes in a grid. They are The squares around the
holes are colored in rectangles from 1 x 3 to 1 x 6, in 3
colors. There are plastic pcs. in the same sizes, 1 x 3 to 1 x 6
also in three colors, about 3 or 4 of each combination of
length and color. Each square has a hole in the top and the
two end squares have pegs in the bottom. (See picture.)
[Diagram of a small rectangle with 2 small square appendages attached beneath.]
Pcs. are placed so the two pegs are in holes either
both the same as the pc. or each different
and also different from the pc. played.Score for length of
pc. Play similarly on higher level and multiply length by
level to get the score. Possibly dice will be used to determine
the choosing of pcs. or can be worked out by skill; possibly
lining up three and using them in that order and each time one
is used placing another at the end of the line (Rough idea
to be worked out.)
To Felicia's apartment. Returned the rules for TURTLE SCHOONER and
APPRECIATION. Also the Times article by Barnard Collier, which I
had reproduced. Gave her the check for her share of 3M royalty.
Told her about AIRLINE & TAM-BIT @ Renwal. She said 10%
was very generous of me.
She would be very happy if I could place something of
Connor's there. Said I'd be glad to show them DANGER STRAITS
but X has it now. Also CAPTURE THE CARGO, HALF AND HALF
is with AMT, & I don't like it anyway.
