SATURDAY 22 MARCH 1969
81st day - 284 days to come
Wrote letters to Mike Abrams, Bryce Russell, and R.R. Hawkins
(RANDOO).
Wrote form letters to : Mr. Jim Kudera
Kofield Enterprises (PYSTEGE)
Spencer-Murray Corp. (BROKER)
Educational Cards, Inc. (WORD RUMMY)
The Card Word Co. (CARD WORDS)
Mullincrafters (SAIL AWAY)
Played DIGIT with Sid and Klara Karlan. First played with
30 "+", 30 "-", 24 "x", and 24 "÷" cards (using regular
cards for testing. This resulted in a dirth of "x" cards,
which are the most important.
Changed the proportions to 36 "x", 30 "+", 24 "-", and 18 "÷".
This worked much better. Think I'll try 38 "x" and
16 "÷" next time.
Sid and Klara liked it very much even tho I ran away
with the game.
Promised to bring them a copy of BAZAAR when we visit them
next month.
Rcd. THE LOGI-QUAD PUZZLE and THE LOGI-QUAD M PUZZLE
from John Geiger.
Thought of the name NEW DIMENSIONS IN GAMES for the book. The
family liked it very much. Called Claude and asked him how he
liked it and whether it sounded familiar to him. No to both. He prefers
NEW GAMES OF STRATEGY AND CHANCE.
