Bob Engel called just as I was leaving, Couldn't find a convenient
time to get together so postponed it until April
when he'll be in town again and we'll get together at I-S.
To [illegible crossed out] Statler-Hilton. Brought BAZAAR to Dick Conner. He had a form letter from the game columnist in California I have been
hearing about, asking for information on games. Dick said he'd send it to me.
To 3M. Gave Bob Claude SPELLBINDER & ANOTHER Forgot the pieces for FREE FORM so we couldn't play.
Saw Al Samuels again. Charlotte did one of the FITTING & PROPER
puzzles last night and loves it.
Samsonite. Three sports games - FOOTBALL GAME, BASEBALL GAME, BASKETBALL GAME. Ordinary games with plays determined by 54 card deck.
Bart Starr Herjac's. QUARTERBACK GAME (Bart Starr's).
Another football game played with cards, have the rules
(Filed in Misc. Games). A complete set of cards can be ordered
for $3, Maybe I'll do that.
KNOWLEDGE BLOCKS. A children's arithmetic game. Have
rules (Filed in Misc Games).
The fellow at this booth said that he had heard that
Hallmark would enter the market with a full line of educational
games.
Kickshaw, inc. HANGMAN'S NOOSE - The old pencil &
paper game of HANGMAN with little figures that get hung
when the player loses the game.
Diversified Products, Inc. SHOOT THE MOON (See 1969 Ad Clips).
[illegible crossed out] Another space-MONOPOLY game. The publisher wasn't there and there were no rules available. Another game there was
APOLLO MOON FLIGHT - seemed similar but a little more complicated.
Crestline. CHECKLINE played on 4x4x4 boards, 2, 3, or 4 play,
first to get 4 in a row wins, can also be played with a die.
1 to 4 correspond to levels and place a chip in level thrown. 5 al-
lows any level. 6 allows previous player to remove one of your
chips. Winner takes all chips on boards. Start with equal number of
chips. Play till one player loses all of his.
BOOB CUBE - another SOMA imitation.
At same booth a retired policeman showed me his game
JAI ALAI It was an interesting gambling game. He gave me
a copy.
