At Brentano's bought ZAZZ, with the five different regular
solids.
At Abercrombie & Fitch bought CORNER THE MARKET. The salesman
said that this was the only copy they ever had. There wasn't
much equipment but the rules seemed interesting.
Also saw CON-TAC-TIX, a new name for HEX, put out
in wood by a Danish company.
THE TOWER GAME, put out by the same Danish company. (See
picture in 1969 Ad Clips.) Marbles are placed at the top. Players
in turn give one of the rings a quarter-turn trying to line up
interior holes and get the marbles to drop thru the bottom.
COASTER. 8 coasters are numbered on the bottom from
0 to 7. They are shuffled face down and placed in a circle. The
player turns up one and then counts the number in either direc-
tion. The one reached is turned up and then that number is
counted off in either direction, counting a turned up coaster if reached.
The O is wild and can be counted as any number. When an un-
turned coaster cannot be reached with a count, the player's
turn is ended. Any unturned coasters count against him, the
numerical total. COMPUTER FOOTBALL.
[crossed out] Each player has some 8 buttons plus one
red one which is used by the player with the ball. He pushes
the red button and one other. The defender pushed one of his but-
tons. The result lights up, and will always be the same with
the same buttons. (The salesman suggested covering your choice with
your hand.)
Fabio called. He was having trouble understanding
