Felicia called. Bryce Russell called and spoke to her quite a time. Was
very shocked about Alice. He'll take her to lunch a week from
tomorrow and then would like to come visit me. Since I had
invited him she took it on herself to say it probably would be O.K.
He'll call me from her office to finalize the details. (Later found
that he called here and spoke to Dana. But Dana couldn't give him
my office number.)
Felicia told me that he told her he was returning FITTING AND PROPER
and PITFALL. Felicia thinks he is a very sweet person, but that he seems
just to be shopping around, and that i shouldn't let him pick my brains.
He will visit Connor when he goes to England soon.
Felicia has some games submitted and would like to get together
some evening soon, but not next week.
Asked her for Mel Taft's title and address.
Jim Dunnigan called. He has one change in MARLBOROUGH (12/23/68).
A player may refuse a fight if he wishes. Jim says that that improves
the game considerably, but there is still the problem of reproducing
the board.
He is also working on a battle GAME he spoke about last time.
He also has been working on a diplomatic game concerning the
countries of Europe for use by some of his teacher friends. He thinks
he can make a simplification for use in the book. The board will consist
of a number of boxes, of which only the relationship, not the size
will be important. This GAME might be the one.
