MONDAY 2 DECEMBER
Monroe Doctrine Declared 1823 1968 337th day - 29 days to come
Wrote up THREE MUSKETEERS. Then the introduction to Phil Laurence
and copied over the previously written rules for PAKS with a
few changes. Looked at the rules of SKEDOODLE. Thinking of possible
variations.
Called Lee Horn to tell her I was working at home. The Today
Show is out since MB is a sponsor. Told her about "Business Week" article.
She said that they had something to do with it and I mentioned my
meetings with Fred Blakely. Embarrassing for both of us.
Alice called. Bryce Russell of AMP called. He will be in town 12/10 and wants
to take Alice, Felicia, and me out to lunch. I'll join them about [crossed out]
12:30. They also had a letter that they were getting samples of
VENTURE & MONAD but still haven't received them either.
Jan from Aubrey Pierce's organization called to get my address
so that they can send me a tear sheet of Aileen Snoddy's column.
A retired lawyer contacted the paper after seeing the article. He
has a game called COURT TRIAL which he would like to show to me, and
would like to correspond with me in any case.
{ John S. Denton
607 City Bank Bldg.
Jackson, Michigan
Spoke to Claude. An advertisement from Gertz Dept. Store mentioned
BARRICADE. This is the German game I have info on in the
Parker, M.B. box. Claude says it is put out by one of the educational
children's outfits, can't remember which one. Asked him to pick up for
me if it is in the neighborhood of $3.
