MONDAY 25 NOVEMBER 1968
330th day - 36 days to come
Got repnos of the LOA sample endgame for Clande. Also
the FACTOR rules for Alice.
November PLAYBOY had article on games, mainly pictures.
Cut it out and filed it in "Articles from Periodicals" folder.
Times had an article on expensive games. Had
THREE DIMENSIONAL MILL (Filed "Articles from Periodicals folder.).
Call Fred Blakely. He contacted the woman who does
WALSTRETE. It is not out yet but she intends to publish it
next year. She sent him the nules which he will give
me. Also I can have BUY OR SELL and STOCK MARKET (Futures).
Arranged to go to McGraw-Hill Bldg. Wednesday to pick them
up. He also read me the passage from his article where he
mentions me and the fact that ACQUIRE takes more
savvy than other stock market games.
Red. a letter from Victor Kamkin Bookstore. The name of the
book I sent to him was not cornect (had no meaning) and
asked if I could get the correct title.
Sent a short letter to Haar Hoolim.
Arthur called. He has changes in 2 games.
THREE. The three green lines are placed in a different
way. A player, in his turn, can play 2 lines of his own color
and one green line, if he wishes. Green lines once placed
cannot be removed. Green lines can be used for capturing
and either player can make use of one already on
the board.
ALCHEMY. The cards are set up as before. Then they are
all turned face down. Turning a card over constitutes a turn and
of course, can be done when a player wishes. Only face up
cards can be moved. A face down card can be jumped
regardless of whom it belongs to. (See 7/19).
