FRIDAY 22 NOVEMBER 1968
327th day - 39 days to come
Felicia called and told me that they were cleaning up and I
should com come after work to pick up what I wanted. Did
saved Claude's LOA and Mike Abrams' SUCCESSION. Took
some other stuff which I filed in a box in tge basement for
going over in the future.
Dale picked up the game REX for me. I was correct it was
FLINCH with an extra, wild card. ($3.50).
(cont. from 11/23) [11/26]
much time, but that it wasn't really much time if I
am play-testing the hames. I will not do anything further
till I am notified and, of course, until I get the final
rules of the games.
Phil showed me his contract with Renwal. He gets royalties
and a set weekly amount which comes out of royalties. This
amount is only$25 a week and Jim gets $20. There is a
provision for Renwal to buy out 2/3 of their royalty rights
with stock.
We discussed my going in with Phil & Jim in a royalty
splitting arrangement but didn't finally anything. Jim, of
course, will have to be in any such discussion.
In Cleveland Phil bought a copy of VENTURE. He liked the
game and thought the jpackaging was beautiful. But the
parts of the box were so tightly fitted together that he
damaged the cardboard bottom when opening it. The other card
games he saw test marketed were NOMAD & TRYCE.
