SATURDAY 7 SEPTEMBER 1968
251st day - 115 days to come
Went to an antique show in Valhalla N.Y. (Where Dave
& Marylin were exhibiting.) Bought a set of
"Great Mogul" cards. Probably quite old since they don't
have squeezers. The name "Great Mogul" crops up in books
on cards.
The following 3 dealers said they had old games at home : -
Irene Puehl
Crow Hill House Antiques }Also left her my name & number
914 - MO6 - 8566
Bygones? Second Hand Peddler
by appointment only
Hilda Landsman }Has a card game called REX
Hartsdale, N.Y. 914 - OW3 - 3176
Evelyn Hyman
Eastchester N.Y.
914 - SW3 - 5390
Has an airplane & car race GAME.
Also she says she has an ideae for a GAME
which she says will be a smash.
Also left my name and number with another dealer who said
he'd contact me if he runs across anything.
Placed THE CITIES GAME in Board Games folder. Also the
rules for TRAFFIC and BEELINE.
Jerry Fredericks brought me Martin Gardner's column for
June, July, and Aug. 1968. He promised me March, May, and
September 1968 when we get together again. The June issue
had a fairly interesting card solitaire Martin called
BAKER'S GAME.
