TUESDAY 27 AUGUST 1968
240th day - 126 days to come
Alice called. She was out of submittal forms. I had one which I
filled out for SPELLBINDER and then mailed to her.
Deposited the two $125 checks for INFINITE PLANE &
VENTURE CAPITAL in the checking account.
Thought of a GAME idea, while looking at the tile pattern at the
office bathroom.
[Small diagram of a tile pattern featuring squares and rectangles.]
Each player has pieces which are set up at the
two ends of the board. Each pc. has an arrow on
it which determines the direction it can move. When
moving the pc. the arrow can be placed in any direction.
(Possible name - COMMITMENT.) Take an opponent's pc. when
two of your pcs. can be moved simultaneously into a space
occupid by that pc. Moves are always to an adjacent space
(not including diagonally).
Another possibility. It takes a different number of pts. to
move depending on sizes involved, less from larger to smaller,
and more for smaller to larger, different from 1 to 2 than 1 to 4,
etc. Players The first player has a count of 1, the next a
count of 2, then the first player a count of 3, etc, until
the game is won.
