SATURDAY 10 AUGUST 1968
St. Laurence
223rd day - 143 days to come
Rcd. a letter from Haar Hoolim. It had a clipping about
Prof. J.C. Brown who retired after his game
CAREERS caught on. Also some other clippings.
Madea set of cards for POOLWORD. Played with Marylin and BB.
Layed out three columns of 4 cards each and started
three pools. The top card of each column was available to be placed
in one of the pools. When withdrawing a word the player must
have more of his color than any of the other three colors. It
played but it was quite restrictive.
Later played two-hand, me against Dale & Joe. Tried a little bit
with players holding a hand from which they play to the
pools. Quickly saw that it wasn't a good idea. (I'll have to do
more thinking.)
[Crossed Out]
(cont. from 8/12) [8/13]
Spoke to Claude. His kids were playing EYE WITNESS. He wants to
play it a few times before he gives it to me.
Spoke to Ed Weber about something else but brought up the
INFINITE PLANE & VENTURE CAPITAL clause. He didn't think it
was seriuous since no judge would interpret it interpret such a harsh
clause literally.
