Monday May 13 1968
134th day - 232 days to come
Rcd. a letter from Haar Hoolim. He says that if I can sell
MUSKETEERS I can keep half. He has a suggested
change and thinks that it needs further work. (If I do
some work on it I am entitled to some cut - but not half.)
Wrote a card to Jerry D'Arcey suggesting that we get to-
gether on our terms for BLUFF & TOTALLY-- (provided
the latter is accepted.
Wrote a card to Mike Abrams suggesting that he get some
books with arithmetic games to get ideas to use on the
computer.
Worked out the changes in the rules for TEMPO & INTERPLAY.
Wrote a covering letter saying that I couldn't supply any
info on SOMA other than that in Martin's book.
Was working on the plastic overlay for STATEMENT but gave
up because the plastic was too thick and didn't lay flat. I
have to get the thinnest they have.
Finished all the equipment for WHAT'S IT WORTH TO YOU? except
filling in the denominations on some money.
Jim Dunnigan called. He apologized for not calling last Thursday
but thought it was a good idea that I spoke to Ira Lubow. He
& Phil signed the contract with Renwal. Renwal wants to publish
books games the same as publishers publish books. I brought
up the 3M line. Jim said they were fiction and Renwal would
go in for non-fiction.
He and Phil will visit me in June and they definitely want
to play AIRLINE. I asked Jim about getting a copy of
BATTLE OF BRITAIN wholesale and he said he'd give me one as soon
as he got some copies.
Various "brain" company workers have been sending games to
Renwal but they are rather abstract. One he saw was a
space GAME.
