FRIDAY 29 MARCH 1968
89th day - 277 days to come
BB mailed the 3 peg games to Atwater parcel post.
Arthur & Wald called to beg off from NYGA meeting tonight. I went
anyway. Played 5-hand FAIR TRADE with Claude and the kids.
Played with the first winner taking 60 chips from the pot and the
second taking the rest. Claude liked the game very much and
suggested making special cards to make a proprietary game out of
it. Don't think I will. Claude thought that random distribution
of the wild cards was very unfair. I don't think thst thst is too
important. However when a player auctions a wild card that two
players each need to complete, there is no logical limit to the bidding.
I'll try eliminating the wild cards and setting 10 cards for
a winning set.
From Claude's "Toys & Novelties" magazine took a clipping for MONEY CARLO.
Rcd. letter from Haar Hoolim.
