by a color match or by reaching the horse. Win by getting
into "Corral" with proper color. Space just in front is a
"mud hole" which sends horse and rider back to start.
Charley introduced me to Robert J. Koch, the vice president
of Cadaco.
Charley told me that he had met Bar-David (who Haar Hoolim
told me about) and found him an interesting character.
Mr. Koch showed me the following games which are all pictured in the catalog-
filed in 1968 Ad Clips.
PLOT:- Each player has 6 pieces started in the opening row. Each in turn
throws two dice. Move a [word crossed out] man for each die. Until all If
there is a piece remaining at the starting row after moves can only be
orthogonal. With all out diagonal moves are permitted. Captures
are by replacement. No capture can be made by a player with a
piece in the starting row. The last piece a player has can move
with both dice, turning between them if desired. The center four
squares are the "plot squares". A player enters this area thru his own
color and then can move around, except that the same space cannot
be entered twice. Pieces leave in the same way and can capture
on leaving. Win by eliminating enemies. Pcs. in the "plat [plot]" area
are safe from capture. Pcs. cannot pass an occupied space
(how about in "plot" area?).
CONFETTI:- This is a children's game with a new idea. There is a
layout of 9x12 circles in 6 different colors. There is a cardboard
gadget with 3 holes. They are placed in such a way that they
can show three different colors in several different ways
(since the cutouts are smaller than the color circles). There
