FRIDAY 16 FEBRUARY
1968 47th day - 319 days to come
At B&N saw AN INTRODUCTION TO LINEAR PROGRAMMING AND THE THEORY OF GAMES
by S. Vajda (Science Paperbacks). Didn't buy it, but may do so someday.
It has a number of solutions for the "Transportation Puzzle" which treats on
the most ecconomical way of sending various products to various parts.
The Changed the name of TOGETHERNESS to INTERPLAY.
Thinking of a game - tentative name THE TRANSPORTATION GAME
using a layout of 60 planets (or preferably islands) I
once worked out. Will have more on this later.
Alice called - Larry Winters got a thoughtful letter from
Bill Caruson about HIGH BID. They have a copy which I'll
look at.
BB called. Ideal sent a letter asking for my social security number.
Jim Morgan wrote asking my thoughts on giving penalties for
chips left at the end of a game of BAZAAR.
With BB, Claude & Anne in the villiage. Bought 6 transparant
boxes. Looked @ SKI GAMMON in Brentano's. Added a few
minor points to what I have on it already.
Brentano's had copies of ACQUIRE.
Gave Claude back his information on syndication and
also a repro of the cavalier article. He lost them (but
later recovered them.)
