SATURDAY 3 FEBRUARY
1968 34th day - 332 days to come
Blocked out letters to Charles Parker & Bob Claude.
CONCENSUS came. It seems quite good. There is a paid envel-
ope for sending away for free notes on strategy.
Played TAKE A NUMBER with Dana and started writing
the rules. Decided to play to a score of 500 points.
In each round the one with the highest score gets a
bonus of 30 points. It can be split 2 or 3 ways with ties.
With Phil played two games of DETOUR, using 36 arrows. The
first player to turn an arrow gets a large, but not
insurmountable, advantage.
The four of us played FOIL. It is good, but 12 hands
with 4 players is too long. I think that 6 hands - 2 at each
level - would be preferable with any number of players.
The 4 of us played TAKE A NUMBER. They liked it.
