MONDAY 22 JANUARY
1968 22nd day - 344 days to come
Thought of a new scoring schedule for FOIL.
Alice called. She rcd. her report from 3M:- ACQUIRE - $2485.58
BAZAAR - $90.78
This is about 5% less than last year's. HIGH BID is about 25%
under last year.
Told Alice about my criticism of EGGHEAD OR CHICKEN (that adding
together the 4 numbers will tell you which is the correct
answer, and that children would discover this.) Alice didn't
think they would. Said I'd try it on Claude's kids.
Alice said she found that she had rcd. my check for TRIPLE CROSS
and mailed it to me. It came today.
Rcd. a letter from Harry Cunningham with a check for $30.
Rcd. a clipping from Gene Koretz from the Jan. 20
BUSINESS WEEK Magazine. He mentions MR. PRESIDENT,
ELECTION '68, CAMPAIGN, CONVENTION, MEET THE PRESIDENTS,
CONSENSUS, HOSTILITY, CREDIBILITY GAP, & NUCLEAR WAR.
(Filed in "Articles from Periodical's folder.)
Blocked out a form for inquiring about games. I'll have BB type it up
and then run off duplicates.
Alice called. Asked me if I knew about CREDIBILITY GAP. It is set A
store in the mid-west had heard of it and wanted to order
it. Told Alice it was in Amherst, Mass.
Alice also said that there are two Ann Arbor, Mich. companies making
very intricate adult games that are selling well.
One is the one doing CONCENSUS.
The other is K.M.S. Industries. They produce BUY OR SELL. They
will be at Toy Fair with that and other games.
