DUDENEY'S GAME OF KAYLES
o ooooooooooo <-- starting layout.
Take one or 2 pieces adjoining. Last to take pieces wins.
Idea for a Nim type game
Have different colored chips. Pile into piles haphazardly. Can take all those of the same color on the top of piles.
Can also be made into a solitaire card game.
Pile into five overlapping columns.
[small diagram of two stacks of overlapping cards]
Start by taking all of one suit that are on top to keep for self. Then must take suit with most showing for opponent. And so on. Win if have more cards than opponent.
WYTHOFF'S GAME - 2 piles of various numbers. Can take 1 or 2 from one or the other or both (if both take same from both). Last to take wins.
