TUESDAY 11 JULY
1967 192nd day - 173 days to come
(cont. from 7/10) [7/10]
Called Bill Bentzin to thank him for the clippings, the two
sports game, and for the artical in Women's World.
Another letter from Haar Hoolim with more on 7-UP.
I called Martin Gardner. He said he'd like to come to
pay us a visit in the near future, possibly for supper, but
probably it will be simpler to come for an informal visit.
He was interested in my description of CASE OF THE ELUSIVE
ASSASSIN. It ties in with "logic diagrams." He is interested in
seeing my puzzle on the game. He hasn't received anything in-
teresting in the field of games except for SPROUTS which
is a pencil and paper game in the July issue of Scientific
American, which I haven't seen yet.
Claude called. NYGA meeting in his mother's house this
coming Friday. Arthur said he'd probably bring something
new.
While talking to Bill Bentzin asked him if there was
any talk about a tour by me this year. He said he'd
check with the home office.
