THURSDAY 6 OCTOBER
1966 279th day - 86 days to come
Called Michael Goodkin @ Simulmatics. Will bring him
DATA PROCESSING on Monday Oct. 17.
Called Herb Ahrend called. He will come here 10/8 to discuss my
ideas and see some of my games.
Alice called. She sent INVASION to 3M. Told her about my ideas
for a piling game w GAME with Cuisenaire sticks. She told me
about STACK STICKS STAK STIX which "X" likes but can't cost out. There are some 30 sticks with (she said) twelve different spaces
of different colors. These are placed on a flat surface
and then piled in turn, the player having to match a specific
(spun) color at the points of intersection. This is
enough like my game idea to make it useless to continue.
Alice said that "X" is looking for special card game and
that I should work on one.
Letter from Haar Hoolim. Had an enclosure of a letter he
sent to Clark Abt who was written up in Time Magazine
(when ?) and it said he liked serious games.
