TUESDAY 2 AUGUST
1966 214th day - 151 days to come
Paul Milazzo called. Bob Abel, a freelance writer contacted
him in connection with two articles on games he is writing,
for True & Diplomat Magazines. Paul told him about me and
N.Y.G.A. He wants to come Friday. I called Claude &
Arthur and they'll come. Called Curt Kaufman to tell him
we'd have to see him Saturday instead of Friday. Called
Bill Bentzin to see about getting a copy of BREAK-THROUGH
for the shelf and one of ACQUIRE to give to Bob Abel. Was
going to send them, but called later to say he was contacted
by Abel and will give Bob Abel a complete set, and will
get a copy of BREAK-THROUGH for me later. He did send
me the $4.85 for telephone expenses. He also mentioned
me to Abel (I didn't give him Bob's name in my original call)
and Bob told him he was visiting me.
When I spoke to Arthur I asked him if he minded if
I contacted Simulmatics about DATA PROCESSING. He
didn't. They are located on E 41st St. and his contact
was Mike Goodkin.
Bill Bentzin mentioned that 3M was testing some sport
GAMES on the west coast.
