357th day - 8 days to come
Bob Oxhandler let me have their copry of yesterday's Wall St. Journal. It mentions ACQUIRE among other games I already know. It also mentions a company, ABT Associates of Boston which is working on games for use of the Defense Dept. One on "counter - insurgency techniques" and one on "pre-revolutionary activity in under-developed countries". They are also working on one based on problems of running an automobile dealership. (Filed in Articles on Games.)
Charlie told me of a series in the Journal American on games. Bought today's and it had a game, or rather pastime based on analysing player's answers to set questions such as "What kind of garden would you like?" The series is from a book - GAMES,ANYONE? By Robert Thomsen - Doubleday & Co. - 1965.
Made up set of 24 colored cards for the 4-6 version of CONCENSUS.
