Pioneer's Day (Utah)
205th day - 160 days to come
Looking at Fr. Daniel's games of ZOOP & FORMATION.
At Claude's played L.O.A. using a hex board I had originally
made up for FOCUS. Played it 4-hand and
3-hand using the following set ups. Worked well.
[2 LARGE MULTICOLORED DIAGRAMS. THEY ARE BOTH IDENTICALLY STRUCTURED LATTICES OF CIRCLES CONNECTED BY HORIZONTAL AND DIAGONAL LINES. THER ARE 55 CIRCLES IN EACH, BUT THEY BOTH CONTAIN COLORED CIRCLES IN LOCATIONS THAT ARE DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER. MOST OF THE CIRCLES ARE WHITE. THE DIAGRAM ON THE LEFT IS THE SET UP FOR 4 PLAYERS AND HAS 5 RED, 5 YELLOW, 5 BLUE, AND 5 GREEN CIRCLES IN HOMOGENOUS GROUPS NEAR THE EDGES.
THE DIAGRAM ON THE RIGHT IS THE SET UP FOR 3 PLAYERS AND IS LABELED AS BEING SIMILAR TO THE SET UP FOR A 6 PLAYER GAME. IT HAS 2 GROUPS OF 3 BLUE, 2 GROUPS OF 3 RED, 2 GROUPS OF 3 GREEN, 2 GROUPS OF 3 YELLOW ALONG THE EDGES OF THE BOARD.]
Didn't try 2 hand but I think that the loll[?] nine
pcs. each set up alternately sim in groups of 3
