Sunday 11 July 1965
Fourth Sunday after Trinity
192nd day - 173 days to come
Playing around with DISPERSAL. Think that 6 pcs. each, started
as follows [SEE DIAGRAM] would make a good game : -
[DIAGRAM OF A GRID BOARD WITH 8 ROWS AND 7 COLUMNS. THE BOARD IS POPULATED WITH 6 BLACK CIRCLES AND 6 WHITE CIRCLES. THE BLACK CIRCLES ARE IN THE TOP 3 ROWS IN COLUMNS 2 AND 6. THE WHITE CIRCLES ARE IN THE BOTTOM 3 ROWS, AND ALSO IN COLUMNS 2 AND 6.THE BOARD SET-UP IS SYMETTRICAL ACROSS BOTH THE X AND Y AXIS.]
Playing around with CHAIN REACTION. Trying having each player
having a pile and taking a turn making one move. When a player
is forced to lay out a pile without forming another, the opponent
gets 2 extra moves. Needs further work.
Arthur called. : - He told me that he is working on a new board
for MOVEMENT - 18 x 18.
Told him of my idea for breaking ties in THREE (card game).
He liked it.
Asked him about my question on EGO HIGH (see 7/0). He'll think
about it.
