Tuesday 15 June 1965
166th day - 199 days to come
BB called. Telegram from Bill Caruson. Trip to N.Y. off
but he'll send info on the 3 new games by letter.
BB picked up a 22 page letter from Haar Hoolim at
the post office - dated June 9th. He discusses FAN-FAN
again but I still don't get it. He had 1 new game
idea for a checkerboard game with piles that are built
2 high and then immediately broken down - GAME IDEA
(Later called CHAIN REACTION)
Bob Abbot called to say he had seen games by
"Center for the Gifted Child" - SWORDS & PLOWSHARES,
STEP CHESS, etc. He was quite impressed by them.
Wants to borrow S.&P. Told him of call from 3M.
Called Claude and asked if he wanted to go to Alice's
and play AIRLINE, would like to. The owner of
1-2-Kangaroos would like to make up a game that
could be called by that name and could be pro-
duced privately foe not too much money.
Called Alice to tell her Thursday was off. Discussed
getting together to play AIRLINE.
