Friday 23 April 1965
113th day - 252 days to come
Felicia called to say how much she like the packaging of
SIT DOWN AND THINK. She also mentioned a game similar
to CATEGORIES but played with cards that she wants
me to see.
John Barrow met me at the office. Downstairs talking about
FOCUS and me for 3/4 hour. Gave him checkerboard & pieces
for playing FOCUS. Also Oct. '63 Scientific American and
Recreation Magazine. His treat for coffee.
Rcd. letter from Richard H. Nelson (CALC-U-PEG) asking why he
hadn't heard from me.
Rcd. a FOCUS order.
Wald & Aut Arthur here for supper. Played AIRLINE. I won
a very close one. They both thought it was great. One point
in rules : - When a hop or hops are being auctioned at a
freezout, the minimum bid is $50 per hop. Also a player may
return the hops to the bank if he wishes instead of auctioning.
Gets no money however.
Wald brought me 1964 Selchow & Righter Co. catalog. Nothing
I haven't seen. 1965 Parker Brothers catalog.
DON'T MISS THE BOAT is a new one that I haven't seen.
Both catalogs filed in bottom drawer of filing cabinet.
