Friday 2 April 1965
92nd day - 273 days to come
At Gimbel's saw TRAP THE RAT (Hasbro).
Played on board as shown. The division
between spaces is slotted so that fence
pcs. can be inserted. There is a die
with the following faces : - 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 0.
There are 5 fence pcs. and 1 rat.
Two play - one operating the rat and the
other trying to catch it with
the fences.
The rat moves first, starting from,
the space marked "start". He throws the
die and moves the rat orthogonally
in any direction & with turns allowed.
when a move ends on a mouse space,
take another turn.
The next other player now throws
the die and places as many fences as the number thrown, in any
position he wishes. There are 5 fence pcs. and after they are
placed, they are moved to new positions.
The rat player wins if he reaches a "cheese" space. If he
is trapped, the other player wins. (Does a "cheese" space
have to be reached by exact counr?)
At Weisers bought a book - THE VARIOUS DART GAMES by A.

At Macy's bought AGGRAVATION (CO-5 co.) - the set for 6 players.
