[LARGE DIAGRAM OF AN 11 x 11 GRID BOARD. POPULATED WITH 20 BLACK DOTS IN A SORT-OF HASH TAG (#) FORMATION, AND 9 RED DOTS IN A CROSS FORMATION. 3 SPACES CONTAINING DOTS ARE ALSO MARKED WITH AN (A). 2 SPACES MARKED WITH DOTS ARE ALSO MARKED WITH AN (X). BELOW THE DIAGRAM ('PLAYER A') IS WRITTEN]
BB & I to Barrett, the sculptor's studio. Alice
& Felicia there. Saw CONTINUUM. Played on a board
as shown. [IN DIAGRAM] Each player
has 8 eight animal cubes
which on top has an identifying
color to show its
ownership (2 to 4 can play).
The 4 faces show, on half
the cubes, the bodies of
4 different animals (only
two on any one cube) and
on the other half, the heads.
Arrangement is something
like the following, the arrow
showing the facing of the
animal part.
[SMALL DIAGRAM OF FOUR SQUARES (CUBE FACES) WITH FOUR ARROWS SHOWING ON EACH ONE.
UNDERNEATH IT IS LABELED:]
One set of heads & one
of bodies for each player.
Players in turn place a cube
on the board. A body must
be placed before a head.
A body must be placed in a red
space and only in the center
of the board facing the
player. Thus player A could only use 1 of the 5 red spaces
1 of which is marked with an (A). A head could then be placed
in a succeeding turn at one of the black spaces marked
(A). This completes an animal. Some spaces are set up so that a
player can add a head to a body put down by another
player. If a player does this he may, if he wishes, remove the body
of the other player, capturing it, and put down a proper matching
body in its place. Play until no player has a space to put a
cube. Score for each completed animal (10 points - I think).
