Monday 11 January 1965
Alexander Hamilton born - 1757
11 day - 354 days to come
Felicia Alice called. Letter from Western Printing's lawyer.
Agreed to most of out terms. Rights will revert to
me if they suspend - but there is no time limit. I told
her to check with Freeman. If it's O.K. with him I'll
sign. FOCUS.
Haar Hoolim sent me a beautiful medalion commemerating
the CHESS olympics in Isreal.
Called Arthur. Told him meeting next Friday will
be at Helen's.
He told me of a change in LINES. There is no
furl bridging allowed, even between two spaces of the
same color. Only lines sgtarted at the edge can be continued.
Arthur says it is better this way. I have my
doubts.
He has simplified HIGH - LOW (See 11/20/64) into a
new game which he hasn't named. Use 2 suits of 13
cards. Each player (2 to 6 may play) chips equally
to form a bank. Each player gets a face up card.
Cards are turned from the deck one at a time. When
a car player's card it is matched (same rank) it is
turned over. The last player unturned wins as many
chips as there are cards left in the pack. Also suggested
bonuses when reach a certain number of chips.
(what purpose?). Game over when bank exhausted.
