Rc'd. check for $818.59 for 3rd quarter from 3M - for ACQUIRE.
Looked at Bloomingdale's, Riis Bros., F.A.O. Schwartz,
Brentanno's, Corvette, Abercrombie & Fitch, A&S.
Saw ACQUIRE at all but F.A.O. Schwartz & A&S.
Also saw the following: -
HEX (spear) uses 80 hexagon pcs. with parts of
flowers in the corners as follows:

The flowers are in 3 different colors
with different arrangements. Players
in turn play a pc. & must match
colors of all touching flowers.
Score 1 for completing 1 flower. 2 for completing 2.
Play with about 5 pcs. in a player's "hand". (Not
sure of this.)
COPPIT (Spear) Same game as CAPPIT (See 5x3 file).
PASS THE BUCK (TAG) Game very similar to DEAD PAN.
ARREST AND TRIAL (Transogram) Same game as DRAGNET.
ROLL GOLF[crossed out]-A-PAR (Lowe) [Not sure of this name.] [crossed out] Golf game played
with 5 special dice. Didn't see rules.
JEOPARDY (MB) TV game. Must supply questions to answers.
(Didn't really look at it).
At his house played the following with Arthur: -
POWUR - Played with all the terrain exposed. Also played
that a player could pass up placing a flag if
he wished. Arthur also introduced a rule that the
player who moves last chooses the corner he wishes
to start in (to compensate for the advantage of the
first move). (Arthur won.)
BROOKLYN RUMMY - Played with High Deck - Cards are divided
into 4 face down piles of 7 cards each & 4 face up
cards as shown: -

2 can play with a single deck, for 3 or 4 players use
2 decks. Players in turn pick up one of the face
cards and fill the space from the pile beside it. After
th [crossed out] a pile is gone & a player wishes to take the adjoining
face up card he must replace it from his hand.
Object is to form melds of 3 or 4 of a kind, sequence
of 3 or 4 (which cannot go from a major to a minor),
or a matched pair (such as the K & V of the sun). Win
by placing 7 melded cards on the table (no more & no less).
Melds can be placed on the table whenever a player wishes.
He may add to a meld but cannot change it. Cards can be
