SATURDAY 25 APRIL
St. Mark, Evangelist 1964 116th day - 250 days to come
At Claude's - BB, Anne, Claude & I played two games of DATA
BB won both. Claude complained about not getting
any good cards & suggested dividing the 3 different
types of cards into 3 piles & allowing drawing from
any pile. I first suggested drawing from two different
piles and then, since scoring cards would be most
popular allowing a draw of one from the "scoring" pile
or one from each of the others. Have to think of this
some more.
Dana played ACQUIRE with Barbara, Mary Ellen, & Frankie
using the stock option cards and giving each player
$7000 to start. He said that less stock went into the
game.
The children played a game called PSYCHOANALYST. One
player is sent out of the room. The others decide
on the method of answering questions that the other
will ask, such as answering as the player to the right
would, or the player at whom the answerer is looking,
etc. The questioner tries to guess what the method is.
Worked on the rules for SPECTRUM all day and finished
the rules.
Rc'd. a FOCUS order from someone at RAND (Olaf Helmer).
