WEDNESDAY 8 JANUARY
1964 8th day - 358 days to come
Rcd. 1 FOCUS order.
Original GAME IDEA of mine:- Have 36 squares in a
frame as in RED LETTER. Each one is similar to
the following, with different arrangements of the
elements.
[Diagram of board pieces labelled "BOARD PIECES, 36 REQ'D"; diagram of playing pieces labelled "PLAYING PCS (2 sets req'd)"]
Each played has 16 playing pcs. as shown. Play is
like CHESS. Pcs. have the Queen's move except
that they can only land in a space containing their
element. Pcs. can jump other pcs. - friend or enemy.
Object is to take all 4 pcs. of one group (as A-B-C-D,
etc.) After completing this can pass up this, single,
win to try for a 2nd group worth 3, a third worth
6, or a fourth worth 10. Of course the other player
can win in the meantime.
Actually so that the board spaces can be visible
they would have to be made like this:-
