7 SATURDAY - SEPTEMBER 1974
250TH DAY - 115 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. a FOCUS order with 25 [cents] and sent out the booklet.
Rcd. rules for TIME TRAP together with a letter from Rick Loomis.
Looking at the 6 "Art Book Games" to prepare the info Fabio Coen
wanted. Listed the dates with rule info for each game.
Bought 14 packs of 3" x 5" index cards (100) for 25 [cents] each
at Pathmark.
With Phil Laurence played TWICE AS HARD (after he couldn't do
even the single puzzle). The scores ran too high. Also there is
the incentive to always connect to one of the lines, rather than to
work on the smaller when there is a choice.
Played ORGANISMS and he beat me, after I had been ahead.
Later thought of a new idea for TWICE AS HARD. when counting
the number at each type of line to multiply, take away 5's.
Thus 7 x 9 would be only 2 x 4. When two ends are joined
by the paced pc. - either for first time or to complete a
loop - the total numbers are used, even if it goes above 5.
