166TH DAY - 199 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. TOYS for June. Article on LEXIDATA.
Sent in $9.00 for 3 year subscription extension.
With Phil Laurence played a new idea I had for
KLEE. Each player fills in 3 groups of 3: 1 with
3 different colors (ABC); one with two of one and
then one of another (DDB); and one with two of one and
one of another in between (ACA). These can appear in
any position. It works quite well. (Altho I didn't specify
it at the time, it is better to require equal
use of the 4 colors - 2, 2, 2, 3.
Played SPRINGER and that also worked well. (I thought
I was way ahead and then he beat me.) After they left
I tried some more myself and decided on a few
changes in the layout.
