Mickie gave me the press release pictures and blurb for their '74 line, which I promised to keep confidential. New are: KING OIL, PRIZE PROPERTY, SLAM BACK, CONNECT FOUR, and some children's stuff.
A newspaper writer asked her about the history of LOTTO. I told her that I thought it was invented in England in the 1890's but that I wasn't sure. I'll look it up tonight and she'll call me tomorrow.
She asked if I'd be interested in writing a background piece on GO. Of course. Told her that my fee was $15 an hour and that I could give her a "ballpark" figure when we'd discuss the details. As we discussed it further we came to the idea that I do the research and one of them write the article, which would take much less of my time.
Took a copy of Lowe's BRAINSTORM and AD-LIB CROSSWORD CUBES. Didn't take the following but I'll have to get them eventually: SUB SEARCH, AD-LIB, NUMBERS UP, PLAY ON WORDS, and SHOWDOWN POKER. All are Lowe except the first.
To G&R. Nothing new.
Rcd. the Hallmark 3rd quarter report. $1,421.50 Total
RIGHT CONNECTIONS - - $968.21 - $187.50 advance = $780.71
FITTING & PROPER - - - $828.29 - $187.50 advance = $640.79
(cont. on 11/30)
