14 SATURDAY - APRIL 1973
104TH DAY - 261 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. [received] a letter from Fay Hartog with the contract revision
releasing foreign rights to AGOG to me.
Finished the new Sicily board for PATTON.
Tried to drill holes in the 1 1/2" squares but only succeeded
in doing one without shattering the plastic - for PATTON.
Call from Earl. In New York. Told him that I was intending
to set up a date to go to Al Richter's to drill the
plastic. He'd like to go to discuss DON'T BLOW A FUSE.
Later called Al & set a date for Tuesday evening.
Called Earl & left a message for him to call back. Didn't.
Arthur called. Nothing specifically about games.
Cut all the 1/16" thick plastic into 1 1/2" squares.
Rcd. [received] INTERNATIONAL WARGAMER #64 (on envelope is noted - last issue #65).
Contained TANK FORCE, a miniatures game and
an ad for THE INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW. (I haven't rcd. [received] any
copies of this magazine since 1971.)
Rcd. [received] THE GAMESLETTER #54. Together with a lot of
miscelaneous material, mentions the game SO LONG SUCKER (see '68 [1968]).
Rcd. [received] THE GAMESLETTER #55. Mentions my AGOG reprint (and
Don included a note saying my subscription was extended 1
issue for the information). Mentions a number of new games
including THE BROTHERHOOD, 1944, HANNIBAL. Also a book
on war gaming, THE BOMB AND THE COMPUTER.
