Third Sunday in Advent • 352nd Day • 14 Days to Come
Rudy Lopez called. Through a former neighbor he submitted
LIVE WIRE and LIVE WIRE - SUDDEN SHOCK to Ideal. The
former was returned quickly but the latter has been there
for several months. Rudy has asked the former neighbor
about it and has gotten evasive answers — "maybe it's lost."
Rudy thinks they may be stealing it and wanted me to
know — since he considers that this is also half mine
(I insisted "no.")
I checked to see if I had a registered letter on the
games. No, but I realized that all the info I
have on them in the game diary should stand up in
court. Told him and we decided to wait and see
what happens.
Gave the "Chinese Food Jigsaw Puzzle" to Dale to bring to
Al Nofi, who she was visiting.
Long call from Claude. Nothing specifically on games.
Cut the corners on THE BRAIN GAME cards.
In evening played with the Sapertseins. Good but still
want to improve it. All the cards were removed from the
board before any companies were set up. Moving around the
board then became rather meaningless. Also the "sub-
stitute" cards seem to be rather unpopular. While "Efficiency Experts" are,
some possible changes. Limit trading to numbered cards, ex-
cept that black cards can be included in a 2 for 1 trade.
Instead of having to land on another player for a
"forced trade," it comes when a player throws a double on
the white dice. If a "one" shows on the die in con-
nection with a double, the player can force a 1 for 1 trade
with different types. Once all the cards are taken from
the board, the board is no longer used. The dice are still
thrown, to indicate "forced" trades and whose turn it is.
Change the substitutes as follows. 1 upper level (4 off),
2 middle level (4 or 3 off), 3 lower level (4, or 3, or 2 off).
This will make Presidents and Vice-Presidents more
valuable than the others. In connection with this
make 6 "Efficiency Expert" cards. One makes up '3 the
discrepency', the second makes up another '3. The
other six cards will be 'Assistants' — instead of the
present 7.
Brought a copy of BRIDGETTE to the Sapersteins as a house gift.

that they have worked out for interesting solutions.
They are going to show it to Stein & Day.
