4 MONDAY - DECEMBER 1972
339TH DAY - 27 DAYS TO COME
I decided to add a die to JUNGLE RACE. A throw of a 2, 3,
4, or 5 allows the usual forward move. A 6 allows movement
forward to two pictures of the chosen animal and position. A
1 sends the player back to the first picture.
Called Bill Eckhart. Not in and he didn't call back. I called him
again and I'll bring JUNGLE RACE revision to him sometime
on Friday.
BB retyped the rules for FOREIGN INTRIGUE so that they wouldn't
look like they had been seen before. (Eunio Racinelli feels
that all Felicia shows him is things that 3M has rejected.)

also scores one point for each player who guesses him right.

information shown here and also spaces
for keeping various components. Each
player starts with 6 Workers, 7 Timber,
10 Steel, 10 Rare Elements, 1 Uranium.

In a round each player allocates
his workers and raw materials as
he wishes, towards factories,
consumers goods, or "prospecting
& research," or missile.
After each round each player
draws a "Prospecting" card which
generally gives him some kind of
new raw material. (Actually
Felicia was not sent the cards, only the rules and one board.)
Some cards give new materials (probably a lot) if player had two workers
in "prospecting & research" that round. Some "prospecting" cards
simply say "Misfortune." A player drawing one draws a "Misfor-
tune" card.
Between rounds players can exchange raw materials [illegible word crossed out]
in any deals they can arrange.
Between rounds players can launch missile attacks against an op-
ponent. A missile destroys another missile and is destroyed itself.
If an opponent doesn't have a missile then a missile can be used to
destroy that opponent's factory.
The first player to get a House, Car, and TV for each worker
(which number 6 unless altered by misfortune cards) is the winner.
