Rcd. a letter from Karen Kelley on EXECUTIVE DECISION
and SLEUTH. Karen is leaving 3M on 8/11.
Got repros of the ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS rules
and got everything ready for the trip to Baltimore.
Call from Felicia. Sunburned today. BB will pick up
the contracts tomorrow.
In Baltimore looked at the dept. stores and they all have
a good display of 3M games.
In one saw a game OX BLOX. It is TIC TAC TOE but the
pcs. are shown with 2 X's and 2 O's and
the other side open. The player must place
the face he throws, even if it is an opponent's.

When an open face is thrown the player removes
a piece from the board, his choice. If none of opponent's
are on the board he must take his own.
Also saw SPACE LINES. It is played on a 4 x 4 x 4 field
and (I believe) the entire field is used with players
scoring for lines of 4.
Working on an arrangement for the boards of VIMGO.
Will have 6.
In Baltimore EVENING SUN there was an article on
INTERNATIONAL CHECKERS and Alfred Barrow, a blank black
man who is U.S. Champion. (Filed in '72 misc.)

Looked at the rules for SIJJEH. It is SEEGA or SIGA
with some changes. No winning conditions spelled out.
Made a list of the games to use in my S & T column : -
TRIPPPLES, STRATO TAC-TICS, SPACE CHESS, DIMENSIONS, and
also info on GAMES & PUZZLES, BOOKWORLD column : -
TRIPPPLES, STRATO TAC-TICS, VIKING KIG-LEK
(or ALL IN THE FAMILY), DEALER'S CHOICE, POINT OF LAW,
ON WORDS, 4000 A.D., SPLIT LEVEL AGGRAVATION, FIGLEAF,
AIRPORT, THE BOSS, EMPEROR OF CHINA, DIMENSIONS,
(or SPACE CHESS).
Called Claude. Asked him if he had heard from Arthur
about UP THE ORGANIZATION. No. Claude is trying to
get his SPLIT PERSONALITY game into shape. He was
concerned about how to put meaning into the board. I
suggested offices, homes, clubs, etc. where people meet.
Both tired and didn't talk too long.
Called Jerry D'Arcey. His operation postponed until the 30th.
Hans Goldschmidt had a stroke and is paralyzed from the
