Fred Feucht called. He wanted to know whether I knew anything
about Bob Reiss' plans to put out p. & p. games for Hoi Polloi.
I told him that I did know something about the plans, but
that I preferred that he spoke to Phil Orbanes, as my agent.
Anything that they agree upon in connection with the 6 games
(XANDO etc.) that Bob Hallowell (who is definitely in bankrupcy)
has is o.k. with me.
Alex Cockburn of the LONDON TIMES called from Felicia's .
He'll come next Friday to interview me. Asked him if there was a
particular subject I should prepare for, but he said it was a general interview.
Al Richter called to say that they couldn't get a baby-sitter
tomorrow. Made date for next Friday instead.
Told him about R.G.I. needing someone to run the factory.
Al didn't think he was qualified, but I gave him Bob Gellman's
home phone number in case he decides to call.
Felicia called to tell me that she had loaned ACQUIRE and
EXECUTIVE DECISION to Alex Cockburn. She gave him a copy of
BALI but realized that she gave him the packaging he wanted
to keep. Asked me to tell him that she'd like to trade it for another.
Claude, Anne, BB, and me to Earl's borrowed apartment. Played
THE BRAIN GAME and they liked it.
Claude gave me the rules, in German, that came with a deck of
special cards he bought in a thrift shop - from 1 to 20 in
3 colors. ELFER RAUS! Drove Claude and Anne to Flushing.
