6 TUESDAY - JUNE 1972
158TH DAY - 208 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. a letter from Kathy Brooks telling me to put a tracer on
FOREIGN INTRIGUE from this end. Checked with the P.O. and
I can't do it. Wrote to tell her.
Rcd. a game from an AGOG reader : -
{Edward C. Seiser
{[address omitted for privacy]
{Los Angeles, Calif. 90025
The game is based on trucks and called DISPATCHER.
Earl called. Read me his letter to the Japanese businessman.
His friend, Peter, will probably be at the N.Y.G.A. meeting at
Earl's house next Monday. Discussed what we might play to
interest him. I'll bring POINT OF LAW and EMPEROR OF CHINA and
probably DATA BINGO. Claude will probably bring MANIPULATION.
Felicia called. She mailed SKYSCRAPERS to 3M the day I
brought it downtown. LOTTERY came back from Parker in good condition.
Told her about Kathy Brooks and FOREIGN INTRIGUE.
Felicia has been seeing a lot of Chuck Daugherty. She says that he
is as impressed with me as I am with him. She thinks that
the three of us can do a good job of getting a TV GAME
worked out and on the air.
She rcd. word from 3M that HIGH BID is being dropped. Also
there is no decision yet on what will happen to the Gamettes.
Finished getting the shelves and games from the basement
to Dale's room. Straightened out the boxes in the basement.
In my talk with Felicia she mentioned that she had heard that
MASTERPIECE had bombed, so there probably won't be any interest
in HIGH BID with another manufacturer, even tho she thinks it
is an excellent game. I told her that I had heard that
MASTERPIECE did very well.
The mystery GAME by Dennis La Douceur (see 5/23) was sent
to 3M. It is called WHO KILLED AGATHA G.?
(cont. from 6/7) [6/9]
additional white showing. He'll give this to Edson I
believe. Edson showed his PUZZLE with the partially
transparent square spaces to form a checkerboard to Hallmark.
They said it was too easy. This one isn't.
[Started 6/9] [Arrows pointing up and down.]
Adela said that they really enjoyed LANDSLIDE. gave them
the extra copy I got from Parker.
