Rcd. SPELLBINDER back from Parker Brothers.
Rcd. my air tickets and a nice letter from John Rasor.
Rcd. letter from Kathy Brooks saying they are returning
FOREIGN INTRIGUE. It does not lend itself to the type of
mystery game they are looking for.
Rcd. a note from N.Y. State Tax office that they rcd. my
amended returns.
Rcd. two letters forwarded by Random House.
Mr. & Mrs. Irwin D. Spalten: Where can they get games by
mail order - including WHEEL & DEAL.
Russ Sansom wants permission to review AGOG, and
describe PATTERNS II for THE INTELLIGENCER, the San Francisco
Bay Area MENSA journal. He also likes SLAM.
Rcd. PANZERFAUST (#52, Mar. - Apr. '72). Also questionnaire
and notice that my subscription is running out. Also notice
of "Cincinatti 2nd Annual Conflict Simulations Game Convention."
Among the games to be played is ACQUIRE. Also to be played is
NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION and a short description is included.
In the magazine was notice that Don Greenwood is becoming
editor of A.H. GENERAL. PANZERFAUST was sold to
Donald Lowry.
Discussion of a Guidon Games miniature game book TRACTICS.
Rules for a minigame SECOND PUNIC WAR, played on
the ANZIO board.
Advertisement for "Simulation Design Corp." They have a game
DUNKERQUE 1940. They have a magazine CONFLICT which will
go into games other than war games, including abstract games.
They will be putting out "Bookcase - line games". In the
upcoming issues of the Magazine they will have PARLEMENT,
THE KNIGHT'S MOVE, and an advance prototype of A.H.'s
new fall GAME.

GHQ NOVICE RULES - a simple tank battle miniature game.

together a group of small manufacturers to market their
games together. At present it includes their BRIDGETTE
and MY WORD (They are leaving Reiss Associates because
of the conflict of interest in Reiss' operation); R.G.I. with
MOVIE MOGULS and later HOLIDAY (which I told him was
mine) but not the sports games; Phil Ross with GROUP THERAPY
and COUPLES (altho Park Plastics will still be involved);
Korburn, headed by Benni Korzen, with MARIENBAD and CLASS
(taken over from American Iguana); John Geiger's Metro-Plan
games (he asked me how they were - interesting and different).
Eric Neiberg's Plan B with VECTOR, CARAPACE, CAVEAT EMPTOR,
Harwell Ass.' NEW TOWN. Another possibility - ALPSCO's NOSTALGIA,
VERBAL GAME, and HAAR HOOLIM PERCEPTION GAMES.
