(cont. from 4/9) [4/12]
To G. & R. and gave Nan Dimblick the new board for NEW TOWN
and told her of the call from John Wilkenson (see 4/10). She
said that he is only 27 but is the head of the new product
development for a big company. Also he has plenty of money
from his and his wife's family.
She asked if I had heard from George Simon and I told her
I had. He bothered her for over an hour, taking pictures
with a little camera, and she told him that I
knew more about adult games than anyone else. He got
started on the article from a newspaper article with
SEDUCTION, GROUP THERAPY, BODY TALK, STRIP-TAC-TOE,
BUMPS AND GRINDS, and HAT IN THE RING. Nan gave me a copy
of the clipping. (Filed in '72 misc.)
When at Brentano's Dorothy mentioned that she wasn't sure
whether to reorder NEW TOWN and she I showed her
the new board and she said she'd reorder. Told Nan about this
and she appreciated it, altho Henry Levy had already
decided to reorder. The new price of NEW TOWN is $9.
To R.G.I. but no one was there. Passed Jose Mendez, Inc.
and saw some games.Spoke to the secretary and
took NAV-O-STRAT. The company is Toomey Toys and the
other games they do are QUARTERBACK OPTION, BASEBALL
and DECATHLON. Planned, but not out yet, are TAXI-CAB, AIR TRANSPORT, and GREAT AMERICAN RAILROADS. (Took sheet
on these, filed in '72 Misc.)
To Skunk Works. Spoke to Jim Dunnigan who was much more relaxed
than last time I was there. They are moving
to the 9th floor and taking over the whole floor. He spoke
about an office for me, also that the new magazine will
be in the talking stage in about a year. The circulation
of S & T is now over 11,000 and growing steadily. Chris Wagner
